The UK Government would like to change the gambling laws so people can bet for longer and also win a lot more money, I can only guess at the reasoning behind this, and that is to make the UK's holiday resorts a more attractive proposition for investment, for example: If a Las Vegas entertainment company, wanted to build a complex in Blackpools holiday resort, knowing that the gambling laws had been changed... So whats the argument? well you can probably tell which side of the fence I'm shooting from, but people here are opposed to the idea, they believe we have enough problems with gambling addiction and people running into debt and losing their homes, and encouraging people to have a bet or visit a casino will only make matters worse...
